Wet weather is finally forecasted to return to Utah on Sunday with valley rain and mountain snow moving in to the northwestern areas of the state early in the morning then spreading south and east through the day, valley rain briefly mixes with or even changes to snow behind the cold frontal passage in the afternoon. Plan on the rain/snow to end over most areas of Utah by sunrise on Monday. Look for a general 6-12" of snow for most central/northern Utah mountain areas above 7,000 ft, little if any snow is expected below 4,800 ft. Click on the below map for the WRF model forecasted snow between 5am Saturday and 5am Monday.
