A weak storm (warm front) is expected to spread mountain snow into northern Utah on Tuesday morning as early as 5am and continue through as late as 1am Wednesday. FYI, This type of over running (warm front) situation is prone to riming. Plan on a general 1-3" of snow for the central/southern Wasatch and Uinta mountains above 8,000 ft with 4-8" for the northern Wasatch/Bear River Mountains, most snow falling over the Bear River Mountains. Click on the below map for WRF model forecasted snow through 5pm Thursday.
