I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

Statewide storm

A storm will move into Utah this afternoon from south to north and continue into the day on Tuesday. Plan on 6-12"+ of snow in most all of the Utah mountains above 7,000 ft, 2-5" in the northern Utah mountain valleys, and trace-4" for the Wasatch Front valleys/benches. Click on the 36 hr snow forecast link in the upper right of this web page before 9pm today for a detailed model projected snowfall map. Enjoy the new snow!

    for the record, i like your comments on wsf facebook. you're not stealing anything by posting informative weather information. it's nice to know how much accumulation to actually expect. don't listen to those fools
