Slow moving storm (40)
A slow moving storm is forecasted to push into northern Utah early on Monday morning, moves into southeast Utah on Tuesday morning. This slow moving storm is expected to be a long duration event lingering over the state through Thursday before finally pulling out. Plan on a general 8-16" (local 17-24") of snow for the northern Utah mountains above 7,000 ft, less the further south and east you go. Look for local valley/bench accumulations in the 1-4" range mainly from the Salt Lake Valley and points north and west including the desert valleys.
