New Focus

I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

Small storm (33)

A small storm is expected to spread valley rain/snow with all mountain snow into the northern areas of the state just before sunrise on Monday then spread south and east through the day, a few spotty lingering showers over and near the mountains into early Tuesday morning . Plan on a general 2-5" of snow for the central/southern Wasatch front mountains, Uinta, and Wasatch Plateau above 7,000 ft. Look for little if any accumulation in the lower valleys, local 1/2-1" bench areas and mountain valleys. Click on the below map for the WRF model forecasted snow between 5pm Sunday and 5pm Tuesday.
