A quick moving and small storm for northern Utah on Sunday night. Below is the WRF model forecasted snow between 6am Sunday and 6am Tuesday.

November Outlook

Plan on warmer than normal temperatures in November for all of the state with near normal precipitation in the northern third of the state and below normal precipitation for the southern two-thirds of the state.

Remnants (4)

The remnants of the BIG pacific northwest storm are expected to push through Utah and Sunday and continue into the morning hours on Monday. Below is the WRF model forecasts snow between 6pm Saturday and 6pm Monday.

Significant storm to start of the 2016-2017 season! (1)

A significant fall storm is expected to move into the Great Basin on Thursday then slowly move to the east clearing out of the Utah area on Saturday, moisture ahead of the storm brings rain showers and thunderstorms to many areas of Utah starting Wednesday. Plan on big rain fall amounts (0.50-1.50"+ for most valleys, 1.00-2.00"+ mountains) over most of the state with rain changing to snow in the mountains by Friday, snow mixed in as low as 7,000 ft. Look for a general 2-5" of snow in most Utah mountain areas above 8,500 ft with local 6-12"+. Below is the WRF model forecast rain and snow amounts between 6am Wednesday and 6am Saturday.

Plan on above normal temperatures for the southwest areas of Utah with near normal temperatures for the northeast. Look for near normal precipitation for all areas of Utah.
