Widespread soaking rain

Plan on widespread soaking rain this weekend for much of Utah. Below is the model forecasted rain through 6am Monday, most areas in green are expected to see 0.64"+ with areas in pink 1.28"+, black 2.56"+.

2014-2015 Winter Outlook

My current 2014-2015 winter forecast is 80-90% of normal for areas north of Ogden, 90% of normal for areas between Ogden and Provo, 90-110% of normal from Provo to I-70, 110-130+% of normal south of I-70. My wish forecast is a repeat of 2010-2011 season!

Soaking rain

WRF Model projected rain fall through 6am Wednesday. Plan on a general 1-2" of soaking rain for most central/southern Utah mountains with local 3"+.

September Outlook

Plan on the wetter than normal weather for southeast Utah in September with warmer than normal temperatures for southwest Utah.

Plan on above normal precipitation for all of Utah in August with near normal precipitation.
