New Focus
I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

Freezing Rain in Utah!
It does not happen that often but there has been freezing rain today along most of the Wasatch Front as warm air and rain has come in with the pesky cold air and valley inversions hanging on. Plan on 3-6" of snow for the Wasatch Mountains with this storm, tr-2" of snow in the valleys from around Ogden and points north.

February Outlook
Unfortunately most of Utah looks warm and dry with the far northern areas of Utah near normal. Looking out at Feb/Mar/Apr it looks about the same with warmer and dryer than normal conditions for most of the state except far northern Utah. I don't put much faith in these forecasts, lets hope this one is wrong and it turns out wetter!
