New Focus

I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

More snow (36)

Another storm will move into northern Utah early on Monday and push through the state during the day with most snow ending by dark, a second piece of the storm moves on on Tuesday bringing back lighter snow showers to northern Utah that lingers into Tuesday evening. Plan on a general 6-10" (local 11-18") for most Utah mountain areas above 7,000 ft. Look for 3-6" of snow for the mountain valleys, some central desert valleys, and local bench areas. In the lower valleys along the Wasatch Front 1-3" snow is anticipated. Click on the below map for the WRF model forecasted snow between 5pm Sunday and 5pm Wednesday.
