New Focus

I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

Third and final storm in the series (21)

The second storm over Utah will continue today and finally pull out of the state during the evening hours, the third and final storm in the series is expected to move in before sunrise and Tuesday and continue into Tuesday evening. This third storm will bring in much colder air and a good northwest flow which is always good for most areas of the Wasatch. Plan on a general 8-15" (local 16-22") of snow for the northern/central Utah mountains above 7,000 ft, 3-8" for the mountain valleys, 2-7" for the benches, and trace-2" for the valleys. Click on the below map for WRF model forecasted snow between 5am Monday and 5am Thursday.
