New Focus

I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

Less snow.

The Wednesday into Wednesday night storm now looks weaker. Plan on 2-4" in the Wasatch Mountains, 1-2" for the Wasatch mountain valleys, and trace-2" for the lower valleys/benches along the Wasatch Front. Click on the 24hr snow forecast on the right side of the page for a detailed map of the model forecasted snow, the Uinta's are the winners.

No snow!

The hope for snow on Thursday night into Friday for northern Utah is mostly gone as the storm looks like it is going to split and go around us.

Snow?

Mainly southern Utah is getting snow today and tonight with very little up north, looks like northern Utah may get a little light snow on Thursday night into Friday but does not look like much.

The 90 day outlook shows northern Utah has a chance of being wetter than normal.  http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/predictions/multi_season/13_seasonal_outlooks/color/page2.gif
Hope this pans out!
