New Focus

I'm now mostly a retired meteorologist but still love to watch Utah weather. I will continue to update the Utah weather cams and Utah weather links pages and occasionally post Utah weather related information. I'm spending more time enjoying Utah snow skiing, cycling, hiking, and water skiing.

White Christmas for all (21)

A significant winter storm will move into all of Utah Friday night and linger into the morning hours on Christmas day. Plan on a general 8-16" (local 17-27") for most Utah mountain areas above 8,000 ft. Look for a general 5-7" for the mountain valleys, Wasatch Front bench areas, and some southwest valleys, 2-4" for most lower valleys. Below is the WRF model forecasted snow between 5pm Friday and 5pm Monday.
